European Institutes met in Paris
The executives from six leading European food institutes (EFI European Food Institutes) met in Paris on 4 December 2009.
Subject of the meeting was the future cooperation on specific European and international food technology projects and further professional education. Besides the European project management, the work of a "Food Law" group, the expansion of the EFI network and the implementation of a joint internet portal of all six food institutes were discussed.
The next meeting is scheduled to take place in Neumünster on 23 June 2010.
Initiated by KIN in 1993, the EFI European Food Institute is a strategic alliance and a Europe-wide exchange of experts from leading European food institutes. The group meets periodically in France, the UK, Germany, Sweden, Spain or Italy. The members of the group are:
