Technical School: Become a food technician!

Technical School: Become a food technician!

A sound education, comprehensive expert knowledge and a willingness to learn are the ultimate requirements for a good and safe job position. This is your starting point towards technical competence, recognition and a career. As a “state-certified specialized food technician”, you will belong to the group of skilled specialists and managers that the food industry needs. Food technicians design tomorrow’s food. A study course at the KIN Professional School for Food Technicians will provide you with the current know-how and show you how to implement your knowledge with the equipment at the KIN Technical Center. After 2 years of advanced training, your career prospects will be looking good. The full time school is in the German language. For more information about further training click here (information in the German language only).

Since its foundation in 1970, the state-certified, private technical school has trained more than 1,700 students who are currently working today in all parts of Europe as specialists on a professional level ranking between a master craftsman and an engineer. On several occasions, KIN graduates have been awarded innovation prizes for their excellent final practical exams.

The high level of education and the benefits of the training at the KIN Professional School for Food Technicians are reflected in the award presented to KIN in November 2002. With reference to the high quality of educational opportunities, the technological services and the sponsor model for promoting young talents in the technical school, KIN was awarded the “Golden Sugar Loaf”, the so-called industrial “Oscar” of the Foundation “Golden Sugar Loaf” for junior staff development in the food industry, in Germany.
