Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance is a service which belongs to KIN GmbH, the commercial subsidiary of the KIN Food Institute. The main focus is placed on microbiology, chemistry, sensory analysis, market research, histology and packaging tests. Besides these preventive and solution-oriented services, we also offer competent consultation services in the following fields, for example:

  • National and international food law

  • Hygiene management

  • HACCP concepts

  • Problem solutions focusing on interfaces such as packaging - food - process

  • Analysis

KIN Quality Assurance assists in short- and medium-term problem solutions, e.g. in the event of crisis, faulty products, official monitoring requirements, implementation of new legislation, raw material or recipe modifications, customer complaints, and routine examinations.

Furthermore, we also arrange training in all these service fields within the scope of our vocational education department and we accompany your product development or production processes jointly with our Food Processes department.

 


  • Counter sample experts for animal and vegetable food as well as for packaging tests (§42 German Food and Feed Code)

  • Approval according to §19 (2), German Potable Water Regulation (microbiology)

  • Permission according to §44 Infection Legislation for activities involving pathogens

  • Accreditation by DAP (German Accreditation System). Approval of accreditation by the State Accreditation Office (AKS). Certified inspection range according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2000 for the fields of microbiology, chemical analyses, histology, sensory analysis, packaging tests

  • Collaboration with the bodies of ALTS (German working group of experts, active in the fields of food hygiene and food of animal origin) and GDCh (German Chemical Society)
